Emanuel "Bubee" Skinner, Jr., age 97, a  native and a resident of Morgan City, 
LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2:30 PM at his residence.

Mr. Skinner was a Veteran of the United States Army and a World War II Buffalo 
Soldier, receiving an Honorable Discharge.

Memories of "Bubee," as he was known to many, will forever be remembered in the 
hearts of his loving and devoted daughter, Joyce Skinner-Thomas of Morgan City, 
LA; three grandchildren, Sheldon Skinner of Lafayette, LA, Leslie Skinner and 
Jason Thomas (Earlisha) both of Morgan City, LA a host of nieces, nephews, 
great nieces and nephews, the Siracusa Community and other relatives and 
friends.

Emanuel Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel Skinner, Sr. and 
Bertha G. Skinner; his wife, Audrey Carter-Skinner; one grandson, Lester D. 
Thomas and a great-grandson, Wade Blackburn; as well as two brothers and four 
sisters.
