Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1602.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services for Barbara Ann "Boo" Larpenteur Broussard, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin who passed away at her home at the age of 74 on Saturday, February 6, 2016, will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin. She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will conduct the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Broussard, John Kahl Jr., Ronald Trahan, Alton Broussard Jr., Jeffrey Broussard, and Blaine Uze. Honorary pallbearers will be John Larpenteur, Mark Broussard, and Duncan Broussard. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at Ibert's from 12:00 p.m. until time of service, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 2:00 p.m. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, whose passion in life was children. Some of her favorite pastimes were babysitting for family and friends, arts and crafts, reading, word puzzles, and making rosaries. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Assumption and was a former Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Larry Lawrence Broussard; her son, Kenny Broussard; two siblings, Wanda Larpenteur Kahl and John Larpenteur; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Larpenteur and Ledie Marie Hebert Larpenteur; and her brothers, Alvoid Larpenteur Sr. and David Charles Larpenteur Sr. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc ===================
