Visitation will be observed on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA., with a visitation from 10:30 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Preston Watson serving as the officiant. Burial follow services in the Franklin Cemetery - Main Street in Franklin, LA. The beautiful flower has been picked. The garden of heaven is almost complete. Corrine Thomas Foster was born to Luke Thomas, Jr. and Pauline Williams Thomas, April 15, 1955. Corrine married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Foster on October 19, 1974. To that union one daughter was born, Sharisse Foster. Corrine attended Franklin High School. She was employed by Cypress Bayou Casino for many years and later worked at the Amelia Belle. Corrine enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was well known for her famous old fashioned home cooked meals. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted husband, Wayne Foster. A loving and caring daughter, Sharisse Foster. Two grandchildren, Leroy Washington, Jr. and Sneha Foster. Four sisters, Wilma Johnson, Lolette Gant, Pauline (Peggy) Thomas and Dorothy (Wilbert) Guy. One brother, Luke (Rhonda) Thomas III. Three nephews of whom she raised as her own, Talton Mouton, Duan Mouton and James Smith. A loving and devoted sister in law, Penny Bennett and a devoted and loving friend, Tanya Howard Butler. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Corrine was preceded in death by her parents, Luke Thomas, Jr. and Pauline Williams Thomas; one sister, Paulette Thomas Smith; two brothers, Eugene Thomas and Louis Thomas, Sr. ===================
