Henry James Johnson, III, age 82, a resident of Berwick, LA and native of 
Morgan City, LA passed away on Tuesday Februay 9, 2016 at 8:42 AM at the 
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center in Thibodaux, LA.

Visitation will be observed on Friday February 19, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 
funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home 716 Sixth Street in 
Morgan City, LA. 

Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery, LA.

Memories of "Cool Papa", as he was known to many, will forever remain in the 
hearts of his daughter, Claudia Johnson of Morgan City, LA; two grandchildren, 
Terrence Johnson (Carol Lynn) of Berwick, LA and Monique Walker (Aaron) of 
Morgan City, LA; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Johnson of 
Gibson, LA and Sullivan Johnson of Port Arthur, TX; two sisters, Francis Bryant 
and Phyllis Johnson both of Port Arthur, TX; a god-daughter, Tina O'Gwin of 
Berwick, LA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Johnson, Sr. and Alzina 
Anderson-Johnson; his wife, Dorothy W. Johnson; three brothers, Lionel Johnson, 
Earl Johnson and Edmond Johnson and three sisters, Doris Smith, Eunice Johnson-
Butler and Flora Bell Johnson-Williams.
