JORDAN, GERTRUDE HARRIS 

Gertrude Harris Jordan, 75, a native and resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, 
died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Teche Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by three sons, Timothy Jordan Jr. of Port Arthur, Texas, Kevin 
Jordan of Houston, and Darye B. Livas of Los Angeles; eight daughters, Lisa 
Jordan, Betty Jordan and Nicole Hillebrant, all of Morgan City, Tonya Jordan 
and Karen Jordan, both of Arlington, Texas, Toni Jordan of Lancaster, 
California, Dianne Jordan of Los Angeles, and Dionne Washington of Lafayette; 
two sisters, Saundra Harris of Clarksville, Maryland, and Linda Diego of Los 
Angeles; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, six sisters 
and one grandson.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Little Zion Baptist 
Church, 2746 Sixth Street in Berwick. Burial rites will be read at the church 
at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. W.J. Otis Jr. officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
