Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Lydia Gaudet Stouff, a native and lifelong resident of 
Charenton who passed away at the age of 89 on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 
Maison de Lafayette Nursing Center. 

She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Franklin Cemetery. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at Ibert's from 9:00 
a.m. until time of service. Rev. Bobby Hodnett will conduct the services.

Survivors include her sons, Roger Emile Stouff and his wife Susan of Charenton 
and Larry Richard of Metairie, three grandsons, Matthan Christopher Stouff of 
Maurice, Blaise Michael Touchet of Franklin and their mother, Christina 
Reyerson of Maurice, and Scotty Davis, Jr. of Berwick; three brothers, Edwin 
Gaudet Jr. and his wife Joyce, Milton Gaudet Sr., and Larry Gaudet Sr. and his 
wife Patsy; two sisters, Audrey Maupin and her husband Jackie and Theresa 
Falls; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Leonard Stouff Jr.; her 
parents, Edwin Gaudet Sr. and Eremise Abshire Gaudet; four sisters, Anna Lee 
Charpentier, Anna Mae Louviere, Edmonia Crochet, and Angelle Duhon; two 
sisters-in-law, Linda Gaudet and Aline Gaudet; and four brothers-in-law, Herman 
Charpentier, Julius Louviere, Jacob Crochet, and Woodley Duhon.
