Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2016, 8:00 AM until the time of service at MK DIXON Funeral Home. Brian "Bo-Cat" Keith Tate, 52, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at his home in Four Corners, LA. Brian was born on July 14, 1963, the son of the late Martha Joyce Coleman and Albert Tate. He was primarily raised by his loving great-grandparents, the late Frank and Easter Coleman and also by Malcolm and Lois Charles of Four Corners, LA. Brian had a natural talent for entrepreneurship and was the proud business owner of the VIP Car Care Center for over 20 years in Franklin, LA. He was a well-known, dedicated businessman and highly regarded by many community members for his meticulous work, genuine care for others, and warm smile. He was a gentle soul with a generous heart...a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Brian is survived by his son, Brydrick Tate, Broussard, LA, one grandson, Mason Tate of Broussard, LA, younger brother, Shannon Stephon (Michelle Renea) Thomas, Houston, TX, baby sister, Dr. Sherree Lynette Thomas-Coleman (Patrick), Portland OR, and his companion JoAnn McCoy of Franklin, LA He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his devoted extended family and great friends who cared for him when he needed it most, his great- aunt/adopted mom, Lois Ann Charles, great uncle, Malcolm Charles, Sr., close cousins, Hope Denise Charles, Don Phillips, Malcolm Charles, Jr. and close friend Lee Clark Brian will also be deeply missed by many loved ones, relative, friends, and acquaintances to include his three nieces, four nephews, great nieces, great- nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins MK DIXON Funeral Home, 337-940-9253, 211 Main Street, Baldwin, LA is in charge of final arrangements. ===================
