Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1603.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Lula Mae Brown, 79, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Lula was born on April 29, 1936 in Berwick, the daughter of Villiey and Lorena Gross Adams. Lula was one who loved to be in the outdoors sitting on the bank of a pond fishing for hours. She raised six children and while raising her children she worked as a housekeeper to provide for her family. She would spend 40 years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved when they are all together so she could cook for all of them. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by six children, Alice Holland of Berwick, Mervin Womack, Sherill Womack, Ruth Womack, Shannon Lewandowski all of Orange Texas, Bryan Lewandowski of Morgan City; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Lorena Blanchard and husband Clifford of Belle River and Edna Alcina of Patterson. Lula was preceded in death by her parents, Villiey and Lorena Gross Adams; husband, John Lowandowski; four brothers, Harold Adams, Pete Adams, Gabriel Adams, Gerald Adams; three sisters, Ann Adams, June Adams Guilliot, Elsie Adams Leonard. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Twin City Funeral Home with a visitation being held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Following funeral services Lula will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery. ===================
