Alice Mae Gros, 71, a resident of Kenner, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 
2016 in her home.

She was born on June 12, 1944, in Morgan City, the daughter of Joseph Bennie 
Gros Sr. and Alma Pennison Gros.

Alice was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend that enjoyed spending 
time with her family. She also loved her cat, "Menew." 

Her family would like to express heartfelt thanks to her caregivers; her niece, 
Lucy Mae Gros Leggett, and the staff of Louisiana Hospice for Greater New 
Orleans.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brother, Calvin P. Gros 
Sr and wife Irene of Morgan City; eleven nieces; four nephews; and numerous 
great nieces and nephews.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bennie Gros Sr. and Alma 
Pennison Gros; three brothers, Joseph Bennie Gros Jr, John Melvin Gros Sr, 
Davis Paul Gros; and niece, Brenda Gros Aucoin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Twin City Funeral Home 
from 9am until 11am. A Memorial Service will be held at Twin City Funeral Home 
following the visitation. 

Alice will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery after the Memorial Service.
