Donald John Ross Jr., 38, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away on Thursday, 
March 24, 2016 in his home.

He was born on June 2, 1977 in Morgan City, the son of Donald John Ross Sr., 
and Donna Barrow Hoya.

Donald was a loving son, father, and friend that will be dearly missed by all 
who knew him. He loved sports. He was an avid wrestling fan, and a diehard 
Saints and LSU fan. Donald also enjoyed playing cards which led him to become a 
member of the Teche Poker Club.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Alexis Nicole 
Ross; father, Donald John Ross Sr., and step mother Sandra Ross of Berwick; 
mother, Donna Barrow Hoya and step father Shane Hoya of Bayou Vista; sister, 
Alisa Lynn Ross McCary and husband Brad; nieces, Amber Lynn Demers, Katie Rae 
McCary; nephew, Jacob McCary, grandmother, Dorothy Martin Barrow; and 
godparents, Jo Anna Barrow Purvis and husband Jessie, Brett Martin Barrow and 
wife Charlene.

Donald is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Joe A. Barrow; paternal 
grandmother, Grace Chaisson Ross; and paternal grandfather, John Irving "Chuck" 
Ross.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5pm until 9 pm at Twin 
City Funeral Home and resume on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 9am until Mass 
at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
begin at 11am. 

Donald will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Mausoleum following Mass.
