He was born on June 2, 1977 in Morgan City, the son of Donald John Ross Sr., and Donna Barrow Hoya. Donald was a loving son, father, and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He loved sports. He was an avid wrestling fan, and a diehard Saints and LSU fan. Donald also enjoyed playing cards which led him to become a member of the Teche Poker Club. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Alexis Nicole Ross; father, Donald John Ross Sr., and step mother Sandra Ross of Berwick; mother, Donna Barrow Hoya and step father Shane Hoya of Bayou Vista; sister, Alisa Lynn Ross McCary and husband Brad; nieces, Amber Lynn Demers, Katie Rae McCary; nephew, Jacob McCary, grandmother, Dorothy Martin Barrow; and godparents, Jo Anna Barrow Purvis and husband Jessie, Brett Martin Barrow and wife Charlene. Donald is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Joe A. Barrow; paternal grandmother, Grace Chaisson Ross; and paternal grandfather, John Irving "Chuck" Ross. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5pm until 9 pm at Twin City Funeral Home and resume on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 9am until Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am. Donald will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Mausoleum following Mass. ===================
