Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1604.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== U.S. Veteran Jerry Dale Donahoe, 84, a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Maison Jardin. Jerry was born in Forth Worth, Texas on March 24, 1932 the son of Quincy and Sibyl Donahoe. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of the Rotary Club and served on the St. Mary Parish Drainage and Recreation Boards. Jerry served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict on USS Passumpsic. He was honorably discharged as a decorated serviceman. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remember by one son, Steven M. Donahoe of Bossier City; two daughters, Karen Owens and husband Johnny of Bayou Vista, Valerie Fontenot and husband Tim of Bayou Vista; one sister-in-law, Della Topham and husband Gerald of Bayou Vista; three grandchildren, Ryan Smith and wife Devon of Youngsville, Kyle Smith and wife Rachel of Beaumont, TX, Shelbi Fontenot of Bayou Vista; one great grandchild, Olivia Smith; four step- grandchildren, ten step-great grandchildren, five nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Marie Mason Donahoe; parents, one sister, Beverly Siracusa. A visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 10am until service time. A Funeral Service will begin at 2pm. Jerry will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum with Military Honors given by the East Saint Mary Funeral Squad. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers; Lisa Hinkle, Chantell Jenkins, Gigi Granger, Collie Humphrey and the staff at Maison Jardin. US Navy ===================
