Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1604.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Edith "Jane" Guidry Duval, a former resident of Morgan City and resident of Arnaudville passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Opelousas General Hospital. Jane was born on July 24, 1940 in Cow Island, Louisiana the daughter of Cleopha Guidry and Eula Duhon Guidry. Jane was an active member of St. Leo Catholic Church in Lafayette, where she used to oversee the youth group as well as bingo. She loved to crochet and make things for many different people. She loved spending time with her family and also loved to cook and bake for them. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband James Duval of Arnaudville; one son, Roger Duval and wife Julie of Arnaudville; one sister, Ruth Bourgeois of Morgan City; three brothers-in-law, Larry Duval and wife Tracy, Russell Duval and Tommy Duval and wife Judy; one sister-in-law, Betty Duval; six god children, Craig Guidry, Cindy Pisani, Harley Duval, Mark Duhon, Chris Pisani and Midge Bourgeois. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Cleopha Guidry and Eula Duhon Guidry; one sister, Barbara Pisani; one brother, Donald Guidry; one brother-in- law, Jerry Duval; one niece, Caroline Pisani and one nephew, Carl Guidry. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Twin City Funeral Home with a memorial visitation being held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service. Inurnment services will follow the memorial service in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
