Visitation will be observed on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 1:00 PM until funeral services at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 1101 Main Street in Franklin, LA. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery in Franklin, LA. Memoires of "Sammie," as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, Henry Trosclair, II (Tealya) and LaVera Trosclair-Flood (Myron) both of Atlanta, GA and Kerry Trosclair of CA; cousins, Dr. Gary and Diane Wiltz and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Paul both of Franklin, LA; Dr. and Mrs. Gary Jones of Alexandria, LA, Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Baker, Sr. of New Orleans, LA; his Orange, TX caretakers, Margaret Turner and Deacon Joe King of Orange, TX; the members of the St. Paul C. M. E. Church of Orange, TX; the staff and residents of the Silsbee Convalescent Home and a host of other relatives and friends. Samuel was preceded in death by his mother, Rhoda Beasley; one brother, Henry Myler and two sisters, Arnell Myler and Vera Fentis; maternal grandparents, Peter and Meadie Myler. ===================
