Ernest "June" Wilton Maize, Jr., 68, a resident of Lake Charles, LA and a 
native of Morgan City, LA passed away on Saturday April 2, 2016 in Lake 
Charles, LA.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Siracusaville 
Recreation Center (New Building behind the gymnasium), 1110 Grace St., Morgan 
City, LA., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery. 
The Rev. Vincent Fusilier will officiate the services.

Memories of "June" as he was known to many will forever be cherished in the 
hearts of three sons, Ernest W. Maize, III of Houma, LA, Bernard Maize of 
Jonesboro, GA and LaRon Ruffin of Lafayette, LA; one daughter, Rachael Brown of 
Gray, Louisiana; two brothers, Anthony Maize of Lake Charles, LA and Charles 
Maize (Ruby) of Morgan City, LA; three sisters, Michelle Gray (James) and Gayle 
Brown (Cecil) both of Patterson, LA and Agnes Maize of Morgan City, LA; twelve 
grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three god-children, Lisa Richmond, 
Lonnie Johnson, Patience Clark and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other 
relatives and dear friends.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Maize, Sr. and Eula Pearl 
Maize; a grandson, Jabari Maize; four sisters, Rosemary Maize, Bonnie Maize, 
Linda Maize-Johnson and Pauline Maize and two brothers, Bobby Maize and Edward 
"Ed" Maize.
