Jarrod Michael Bowers, 31, a resident and native of Franklin, LA, passed away 
on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 8:21 AM at the Teche Regional Medical Center in 
Morgan City, LA.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday May 14, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 
AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church 145 Prevost Road Baldwin (Ashton Area). LA. 
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 A.M. Jarrod's Uncle, Reverend 
Rufus Parker, Jr., will serve as the Eulogist. A motor bike procession/send off 
will take Jarrod to 

his final earthly resting place in the Franklin Cemetery - Main Street in 
Franklin, LA, 

where Committal and Burial Services will take place.

Memories of Jarrod will forever remain in the hearts of his mother, Bernadette 
Parker-Lockett and her husband, Michael of Houston, TX; his father, James P. 
Bowers, Jr. and his wife, Christina of Franklin, LA; two brothers, James P. 
Bowers, III and his wife, Audrey and Michael Lockett, Jr. and his wife, Bianca 
all of Houston, TX; a sister, Jashayla Bowers of Franklin, LA; nine aunts, five 
uncles and a host of cousins and other relatives, high school classmates and 
dear friends.

Jarrod was preceded in death by both his paternal grandparents, James P. 
Bowers, Sr. ad Delores K. Bowers and his maternal grandparents, Rufus Parker, 
Sr. and Elnora Madison-Parker.
