Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1605.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Albert Raymond Johnson, 84, a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner. He was born on May 31, 1931, in Many, La, the son of Albert N. Johnson and Lydia E. Martin Johnson. Raymond was a devout Christian and music lover, which led him to serve as the Minister of Music for many churches in the Tri-City Area, including: First Baptist Church of Bayou Vista, First Baptist Church of Morgan City, First Baptist Church of Patterson, First Baptist Church of Berwick, and Belle River Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and teaching them things like how to swim. Raymond was a generous and selfless son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Shane Johnson and wife Natasha of College Station, Tx; four daughters, Stephanie Patterson of Lafayette, Cynthia Sampey and husband Godfrey of Lafayette, Traci Connor and husband Mike of Morgan City, Allison Williams and husband Wendell of Morgan City; one brother, Willard Johnson and wife Bonnie of Lake Charles; one sister, Pearly Stark of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren, Joanie Patterson, Eileen Arceneaux, Jason Sampey, Joshua Sampey, Michael Ross, Jessica Ross, John Ross, Bennett Johnson; four great grandchildren, Landon Arceneaux, Cambrenn Ross, Franky Pearce IV, Colston Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Albert N. Johnson and Lydia E. Johnson; brothers, Robert Johnson, Arlington Johnson; sisters, Louise Bolton, Verleen Fuselier, Lucille Scarborough, Shirley Giles, and Etta Mae Martin. Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5pm until 9pm and resume on Saturday, May 21, from 11am until service time. A Funeral Service will begin at 1pm. Raymond will be laid to rest in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Mora, La on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11am. ===================
