Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1606.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== John Santos Carinhas, III, a native of Patterson, and a resident of Pearl River, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was 33 years old. John was an incredible father and was adored by all he met. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and kindness to others. John is survived by his daughter, Madison Elaine Carinhas; his mother, Patricia Boynt Carinhas; four brothers, Michael Carinhas and his wife Lisa of Panama City, Florida, Jody Carinhas and his wife Kim of Morgan City, James Carinhas and his wife Mary of Patterson, and T.J. Carinhas and his wife Robin of Charenton; one sister, Denise Howell and her husband Dreux of Mandeville; his fiancé, Rachel Galiano; 15 nieces and nephews; 1 great-niece; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Carinhas, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, John Santos Carinhas, Sr. and Frances Tringali Carinhas; and his maternal grandparents, Walter "Pat" Alvin Boynt, Sr. and Irene Delia Sparkman Boynt. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 7th, at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Wednesday, June 8th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Herb Bennerfield will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1111 Lia St., Patterson, LA, ===================
