Kathleen "Kathy" Maria Hamilton Cox, 67, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 in 
her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on May 19, 1949, in Morgan City, the daughter of Thomas "Boogie" 
Hamilton and Lena Accardo Hamilton.

She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend that will be deeply 
missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Kathy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother, Lena Hamilton 
of Morgan City; daughters, Allyson Darbonne and husband David of Eunice, Amanda 
Briscoe and husband Chad of Eunice; brother, Vance Hamilton and wife Sandra; 
sister, Mary Ellen Blum and husband Carl; thirteen grandchildren, Adrienne, 
Madalyn, Clare, Sarah, Isaiah, Matthias, Mary Frances, Dominic, Noah, Matthew, 
Anna Clare, Lily, Nathan; and numerous extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas "Boogie" Hamilton.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 at Twin City Funeral Home from 
11am until 1:30pm. The Rosary will be recited at 11:30am. Mass will be held at 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2pm. 

Kathy will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
