Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1606.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Paulette Jane Givens, 67, a resident of Patterson, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Paulette was born June 19, 1949 in Morgan City, the daughter of William and Ethel Barrilleaux Rink. Paulette loved her church and was a very faithful member of Central Baptist Church in Patterson, where she sang in the choir. She loved her family and loved spending time with them, but she cherished the time that she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paulette loved to sew, and enjoyed sewing for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Mark Givens of Patterson; two children, Angela Fletcher and husband John of Gulfport, Miss., William "Billy" Businelle of Biloxi, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Alyssa Capuano and husband Paul, Kristen Prouty, Brandon Businelle, Hannah Fletcher, Kyle Businelle, Mary Paray, Leslie Paray; two great granddaughters, Darcy Capuano and Audrey Capuano; two sisters, Deanna Givens and husband Danny of Houma, Rita Buck and husband Jeff of Saucier, Miss.; her loving dog Sophie. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, William Rink and Ethel Barrilleaux Rink; one brother, Gary Rink. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Central Baptist Church in Patterson with Pastor Caleb Silvertooth officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the services Paulette will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
