She was born on December 2, 1946 to the late Joseph Albert McGill and the late Mary Belle Causey Malzahn. Lindy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who had a wonderful sense of humor and was well loved by all who met her. Her passion in life though was her family who she simply adored and cherished spending time with. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all. Survivors include her loving companion, Joe Prejean; her sons, Austin Vinning, Kevin Vinning and his wife Chauncey, Kirt Vinning and his wife Alida, and Michael Vinning and his wife Stacie; her siblings, James McGill, Kenneth McGill, Bill McGill and his wife Brenda; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis C. Vinning. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, June 24, 2016, at Ibert's Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
