Marlene Theresa Ward, 72, a resident of Houma, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 
2016 at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

She was born on April 27, 1944 in Houma, the daughter of Allen McNemar and 
Theresa Hebert McNemar.

Marlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose memory will be 
cherished by all who knew her. The family would like to express their deepest 
gratitude to the staff at Chateau Terrebonne and Rosie McNemar for the care 
given to Marlene and her family.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Gerald J Guillory 
and wife Adrianna of Morgan City; two daughters, Geraldine T. Soto and husband 
Albert of Morgan City, Darlene Frye and husband Bill of Patterson; three step 
daughters, Lisa Ward of Roanoke, Va, Cindy Ward of Roanoke, Va, Jessica Ward of 
Bayou L'Ourse; five brothers, Glenn, J.C. (Jessie), Phillip, Allen, and Michael 
McNemar; two sisters, Brenda Guillory and Peggy Verret; 20 grandchildren and 13 
great grandchildren.

Marlene is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ward; parents, Allen and 
Theresa McNemar; sister, Jody McNemar; and grandson, Samuel A Citrano III.

Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2016 
from 2pm until service time. A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm.
