Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Mr. Harry J. "Mingo" Simoneaux., a native of Glencoe 
and lifelong resident of Charenton, who passed away at the age of 76 on 
Thursday, July 14, 2016, at his residence in Charenton.

"Mingo" was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be deeply 
missed by all who knew him. He was a man of nature who loved working in his 
garden and fishing.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Ibert's from 11:00 
a.m. until service time. Fr. Cedric Sonnier will officiate the service. 

He will be laid to rest in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Charenton.

Survivors include his children, Dale Simoneaux and his wife Rachel, Patrick 
Simoneaux and Patricia S. Martin and her husband Gerry "Gaggy"; two brothers, 
Millard Simoneaux and David Simoneaux and his wife Sue; four sisters, Carolyn 
S. Hebert and her husband Humphrey, Vivian S. Comeaux, Lillian S. Haydel and 
her husband "Bubbie" and Melinda S. Broussard and her husband Jack; his 
brother-in-law, Walter Zirlott, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Simoneaux and Lillian 
Guillotte Simoneaux Clements and his sister, Lana Simoneaux Zirlott .

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
