Esther Waguespack Tevay, a native of Patoutville and a longtime resident of 
Charenton, passed away at the age of 92 on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at her 
home. 

Esther was one of four children born to the late Dewey Waguespack and Eva 
Sedatol Waguespack. 

She loved embroidery, sewing, quilting, and making pillows, which she gave to 
many family members. Her favorite pastime though was fishing, which she could 
often be found enjoying.

She is survived by her three children, Dianne C. Barrilleaux and her husband 
Roland, Carolyn C. Simoneaux and her companion Chris Kristicevich, and Danny 
Champagne and his wife Trudy; one sister, Gertrude LeBlanc; 11 grandchildren; 
as well as numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and 
nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death two sons, Ronnnie and 
Raymond Champagne; one sister, Leona; and one brother, Lawless.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated with a private graveside 
service held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
