She was the wife of the late Floyd Wiese, Sr. for 42 years. Clara was a native of New Iberia, Louisiana, and a longtime resident of Franklin, Louisiana. She was the daughter of the late Whitney Martin Schexnayder and Noelie Oubre Schexnayder Hebert, and the sister of the late Whitney Schexnayder of New Iberia, LA, brother Larry J. Schexnayder of Baldwin, LA, and sister Mary Schexnayder of Houston, TX. She was a longtime member of The Crossing Place Fellowship Church, in Franklin Louisiana, where she served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ faithfully. She was also a dedicated Heart of Hospice volunteer. She was known for her uplifting and encouraging personality and her love for God. She was a strong woman of prayer and worshiper of God who will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, and those who knew her. Her life will be remembered as a testimony of God's transforming power in a person's life, when they are committed to Him in prayer and faith. Clara is survived by her children, Barry Granger of Franklin, LA, Rodney Granger, and his wife, Carmen, of Jeanerette, LA, Gwen Parker and her husband, Glen, of Pineville, LA, Floyd J. Wiese Jr. and his wife, Allison, of Baldwin, LA, and Chad Wiese and his wife, Kristi, of Baldwin, LA. She was also the proud grandmother of 3 grandchildren, Chet Howard and his wife, Jessica, Chance Wiese, and Presley Wiese, and two great grandchildren, Emma Schexnayder and Gavin Howard. A graveside memorial service will be held at the Franklin Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13 for her family and close friends, with Pastor Den Hussey officiating.
