Following funeral services he will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery Mausoleum. Father Lloyd Benoit will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services, with Father Cedric Sonnier and Father Oneil Landry concelebrating. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, August 19, at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m., led by Father Cedric Sonnier. Visitations will resume Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the church and continue until Mass time. A native and lifelong resident of Franklin, Rowdy was a loving and devoted husband, an amazing father, and a wonderful son, brother, grandson, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. He was a 1988 graduate of Hanson, where he met the love of his life and future wife, Wendy. The two married on August 18, 1990 and began building their lives together and starting a family. They were blessed with two sons, Kane and Koby, of whom he was so proud of. They were, and will always be, the sparkle in his eyes. Some of his favorite pastimes with his sons were hunting, fishing, going to the camp, playing golf, and coaching them in football. He was a true outdoorsman, a die-hard LSU fan, and a good-hearted man with a strong character and deep integrity. He was employed for the past 15 years at Columbian Chemicals, was a jack of all trades, an awesome welder, and had a knack for being able to fix just about anything. Sadly, on Sunday, August 14, 2016, the world became a little less bright, when Rowdy was called by his Heavenly Father at the all too young age of 46. His was a life we on earth think of as all too short, but was definitely a life well lived and filled to the brim. Rowdy will truly be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rowdy is survived by his best friend and wife of 26 years, Wendy Hebert Boudreaux; their two sons, Kane John Boudreaux and Koby Joseph Boudreaux; his grandfather, A. J. Boudreaux; his parents, Gary M. and Linda W. Boudreaux; sister, Barbara B. Gilley and her husband Hal, and their children Cameron and Tyler; sister-in-law, Corrie H. Uzé and her husband Barry and their children Charles and his wife Ashley, Zachary and his girlfriend Savanna, and John Andrew; brother-in-law, Danny Hebert and his children Kayla and her husband Alex, and Hailey and her fiancé Brent; sister-in-law, Marnie H. Vaughan and her husband Alan and their children Ethan and his wife Jodie, and Allison; father- in-law, J. P. Hebert Jr. and his wife Mary Ann; and three great nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Bertha B. Boudreaux; his maternal grandparents, J. W. and Vivian Walden; and his mother-in-law, Lucille S. Hebert. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please consider making contributions in Rowdy's memory to Hanson Memorial High School, 903 Anderson St., Franklin, LA 70538, to provide funding for the football, track, and golf programs. Please make checks payable to Hanson and memo Rowdy Boudreaux. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, Franklin, LA ===================
