Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016, during a 3:00 p.m. Mass 
of Christian burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charenton for 
Marguerite LaGrange Guillotte. 

She will be laid to rest in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum. 

Father Cedric Sonnier will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the 
services. Serving as pallbearers will be Wade Guillotte, Jacob Guillotte, 
Dwayne Doucet, Christopher Guillotte, Corey Guillotte, and Chase Guillotte.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at the church beginning 
at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until Mass time, with the Holy Rosary being prayed 
at 1:00 p.m.

Marguerite was born in Baldwin on November 29, 1922 to the late Homer LaGrange 
Sr. and the late Azelia Olivier LaGrange. 
She married the love of her life, Alvin, on April 8, 1942 and started their 
life together. In her early years she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and 
growing a flower garden. 

Marguerite passed away at the age of 93 on August 17, 2016 at the Franklin 
Foundation Hospital. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, Lonnie Guillotte and his wife Cindy; five 
grandchildren, Wade Guillotte and his wife Nikki, Jade Guillotte Millet, Jacob 
Guillotte and his wife Lacey, Hannah Guillotte Doucet and her husband Dwayne, 
and Deven Guillotte and his wife Brittany; 12 great grandchildren, Christopher 
and his wife Sarah, Corey, Chase and his wife Kim, Gracie, Lyndsey, Gabrielle, 
Owen, Brody, Liam, Onnie, Fletcher, and Abram; one great great granddaughter, 
Amelie; and one step-sister, Rachelle T. Naquin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin 
Joseph Guillotte; her son, Rudy Guillotte; seven siblings, Thelma Granger, Gus 
LaGrange, Tilda Ledet, Henrietta LaGrange, Eugene LaGrange, Homer LaGrange Jr., 
and Homer Emile LaGrange Jr.; and one step-brother, Roussel Theriot.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
