Lois Marie Jones, 90, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, August 15, 
2016 at her home.

Lois was born on March 16, 1926 in Hugo, Oklahoma the daughter of Elmer and 
Daisy Mae Sossamon.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Ralph S. Patterson 
Jr. and wife Velma of Morgan City; four grandchildren, Jeremy Swanson, Dwayne 
Dupre and wife Cherie, Nicole Atkinson and husband Kord, Christopher Patterson 
and fiancé Kandie Foret; six great grandchildren, Dillon Swanson, Amber 
Swanson, Jailee Swanson, Ashley Swanson, Samantha Stansbury and Aimee 
Stansbury; one great-great grandchild, Kylie Klenert; one brother, Carl 
Sossaon; one sister, Laura Mae Sossamon.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Daisy Mae Sossamon; 
husband Ralph S. Patterson Sr.; one grandson, Eric Swanson; three sisters, 
Wanda Sossamon, Sue Williams and Peggy Williams.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Twin City 
Funeral Home with a visitation being held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 
service.
