Earl Kirt, Jr.,75, a resident and native of Verdunville, LA passed away on 
Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 7:05 AM at The Carpenter House St Joseph Hospice 
in Lafayette, LA.

Viewing will be observed on Saturday August 27, 2016 from 8:00 AM until 10:30 
AM at the Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA. Graveside services 
will be conducted at 11:00 AM at the Little Zion Cemetery in Verdunville, LA. 
Minister Quantra Kirt will officiate the services.

Memories of Earl Jr., will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife, 
Almena Bourgeois-Kirt of Verdunville, LA; two sons, Rodney Kirt and his wife 
Vanna of Carencro, LA and Malcolm Kirt of Verdunville, LA; four daughters, 
Stepfonia Kirt and Frankie Kirt Lee and her husband Leo all of Verdunville, LA, 
Bridget Kirt-Henderson and her husband Anthony of Berwick, LA and Fredericka 
Kirt- of Lafayette, LA; one brother, Eugene L. Kirt of Verdunville, LA; three 
sisters, Ida Mae Kirt and Nelly Marie Kirt both of Houston, TX and Sarah 
Lucille "Pam" Kirt of New Iberia, LA; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, 
nephews and other relatives and friends.

Earl Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Kirt, Sr. and Naomi Velma 
Kemp-Kirt and is grandmothers, Lucille Kirt and Sarah Kemp.
