Janice Charles Motte, age 59, a resident of Morgan City, La., passed away on 
Monday, August 1, 2016 at 2:40 PM at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in  
Morgan City, LA, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A Celebration of Life Mass will 
be Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Morgan City.  

Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery. 

Memories of Janice will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Lee Roy 
Motte of Atlanta; her  mother, Margaret Charles Gibson,  one son, Jonathan J. 
Motte of Morgan City, and one brother, John F. Gibson of Morgan City and four 
grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
