Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2016/sm1608.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Roland Tabor, 88, born in Patterson, LA, and native of Gibson, LA passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016, at his home, survived by his loving family. One of Roland's favorite things to do was bagging oranges from his orange tree, to give them away to his family and friends. Roland also enjoyed fishing. More than the things he enjoyed in his spare time, he loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the times he spent with them. Roland is survived by two sons, Cornelius Tabor Jr. and his wife, Tina, of Harvey, LA, and Thomas Tabor of Gibson; three brothers, Budd Tabor, Zack Tabor, and Rufus Tabor, all of Amelia, LA; his grandchildren, Shantell Cavalier and her husband, Joe, Star Stone and her husband, Boyd, Henry Tabor Jr., Stacey Tabor, Amber Anslum, Jacqueline Tabor, Brian Lombas, Jacelyn Daigle, P. J. Tabor Jr., Tayla Tabor, and April Tabor; his great-grandchildren Ashley, Andrew, Eric, Jordin, Kasidy, Tré , Haylie, Kameron, MacKinsey, and Brayden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Boudoin Tabor; his parents, Joseph Verna and Meder Tabor; his sons, Eric Tabor, Henry Tabor Sr., Perry Tabor Sr., and a number of brothers and sisters. A time of visitation and reflection will take place on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 9am until time of services at 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Following services, Roland will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice, Dr. Bruce Guidry and caregiver, Angie Tyler for their services.
