Paulette Brown, 55, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Gibson, 
passed away peacefully at 3:52 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 12 noon, on Monday, May 
8, 2017 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church located at 4928 N. Bayou Black Dr. in 
Gibson. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Quartterio and LaJuan (Taranza) Brown; daughters, 
Ketitia Brown and Destiny Shelby; five grandchildren; mother, Bessie Scott 
Brown; brothers, Alonzo Brown, Jr. (Movelia), Kenneth Brown, and Eric Brown, 
Sr. (Gloria); sister, Suzette B. Jackson; and a host of other relatives and 
friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Brown, Sr.; brother, Kevin 
Brown; paternal grandparents, Humphrey and Laura Brown; maternal grandparents, 
Leslie and Ida Scott; and brother-in-law, Troy Jackson.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
