Edward Joseph Dupre Sr., 73, a resident of Bayou L'Ourse, passed away Sunday, 
July 16, 2017 at his home.

Edward was born on September 19, 1943 in Morgan City, the son of George Gilbert 
Dupre Sr. and Theresa Toups Dupre.

Spending time in the great outdoors hunting deer was one of Edward's favorite 
things to do. He loved to go to the hunting lease with his family during deer 
season. He also loved music and loved to sing Karaoke with Blue Eyes Crying In 
The Rain as his song of choice as he was a big fan of Willie Nelson.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four children, Sherry Daigle 
of Pass Christian, Mississippi, Julie Gaudet and husband Ernest of Bayou 
L'Ourse, Ciji Dupre of Lafayette, Daniel Dupre of Morgan City; eleven 
grandchildren, Mandy Saujon, Samantha Daigle, Jessica Daigle, Sabrina Dash, 
Tabitha Dupre, Jennifer Kinney, Casey Guillotte, Krishten Dupre, Seth Albert, 
Kohen Albert, Kameron Courville; four great grandchildren, Zane, Llandyn, 
Kyleigh and Emma; three brothers, Harold Dupre and wife Stella of Berwick, 
George Dupre Jr. and wife Theresa of Patterson, Ricky Dupre and wife of 
Michigan; one sister, Patricia Ann Arnieville and husband Manual of Gibson.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, George Gilbert Dupre Sr. and 
Theresa Toups Dupre; one son, Edward J. Dupre Jr., one daughter, Tammy Dupre; 
one brother, Michael Dupre.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 
July 25, 2017 at Twin City Funeral Home.
