Funeral Services for Lula Jack will be Saturday, July 22, 2017, 11:00 AM, 
Macedonia Baptist Church, Ashton, LA. Rev. Ulysses Mitchell, Pastor will 
officiate the service.

The family has requested that visitation be observed Saturday, July 22, 2017, 
from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Macedonia Baptist 
Church.

Interment will follow in Sorrel Community Cemetery.

Lula Marie Jack, 46, a resident and native of Ashton, LA, passed away on 
Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10:17 AM at her residence. She was an employee at 
Cypress bayou Casino for over 10 years then went to work at Joes on the Bayou 
Restaurant before she fell ill.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Gabriel; four daughters; Ingrid Jack, 
Brinesha Jack, Franklin, LA, Jasmeria Jack, Ashton, LA, Appollonia Jack, 
Centerville, LA, two sons; Arthur Jack, Javis Jack, Ashton, LA, mother; Mrs. 
Mary Jack Webb, Ashton, LA, one brother; Michael Burden, Jr., Ashton, LA; three 
sisters; Latasha Burden, Four Corners, LA, De’Metria Burden (Dewan) Edmond, 
Charenton, LA, Tanika (Anthony) Phillips, Houston, TX, six grandchildren, 
Antoinazia, Jayse, Kayden, Mason, Klowie, Ta’Mir. A very special aunt, Celina 
Jack (Rev. Clifford) Johnson, Four Corners, LA, two wonderful and caring 
cousins, Ray (Angela) Jack, Jr., Francine Jack (Steve) Sterling, Arlington, TX, 
a very special, devoted friend, Mr. McGee, and a host of nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; Ralph Phillips, one sister; LaShawn 
Brent, three cousins Emmette Abraham, Jr., Tomiko Jack, Raymond Jak Sr., three 
aunts; Lula Jack, Anna Jack Jones, Victoria Jack Tillman; maternal 
grandparents; Emile and Philomen Jack, paternal grandmother; Mable Phillips.

MK DIXON Funeral Home is in charge of final arrangements, 211 Main Street, 
Baldwin, LA.
