Bruce "Joe" Joseph Ratcliff, 73, a resident of Bayou L'Ourse, passed away 
Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his home.

Joe was born on April 10, 1944 in Morgan City, the son of Eugene and Lorena 
Dinger Ratcliff.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by six sisters, Opal Sullivan 
and husband Gene of Adele, Georgia, Ruby Ratcliff of Berwick, Stella Dupre and 
husband Harold of Berwick, Linda Armond of Calumet, Betty Lyn Armond of Houma, 
Stacey Scott of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Calvin Ratcliff and wife Katherine 
of Bayou L'Ourse and Charles Ratcliff and wife Judy of Thibodaux; numerous 
nieces and nephews; special niece who was like a daughter, Linda Davis of Bayou 
L’Ourse.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lorena Dinger Ratcliff; 
four sisters, Rosalie Ratcliff, Barbara Voisin, Ethel Roy, Genie Jarman; one 
brother, Alvin Ratcliff; special nephew, James L. “Big” Davis Sr.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, 
August 3, 2017 at Twin City Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 
6:00 p.m.
