Mary McNamara Schwartz passed away at the age of 89 on Thursday afternoon, July 
13, 2017, at the Franklin Health Care Center. 

She was a native of Philadelphia, PA and has been a resident of Franklin for 
the past 10 years. 

Mary's passion was art, especially painting, which she loved. She had a kind 
soul who believed it was better to be kind than right. 

A private family gathering will be held at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin 

followed by inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA at a later date.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her daughters, Diane M. Brown 
and her husband Jerry Charpentier Sr. of Franklin and Mary Blakla of 
Philadelphia, PA; two siblings, Florence Haug and Thomas McNamara, both of 
Philadelphia, PA; ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; as well as three 
nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, her parents, Leo and Mary Fleming 
McNamara; and five siblings.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
