DIED: - At his home in Cypremort, this morning at 6 o'clock L. P. Patout. We 
get this information jus as we about to go to press. Mr. Patout was taken sick 
with pneumonia on last Monday morning. He was the presudent of the State Bank 
of New Iberia, and was in many other ways closely identified with the 
commercial interests of this place. His untimely death will be much regretted 
by our people.
