Mr. Francois P. Perret died at his home on Saturday evening, June 9th, 1906, 
at 3:25 o'clock, aged 71 years and 9 months. The deceased was born in the 
Parish of St. John the Baptist but has spent many years of his life in 
Franklin where he was highly esteemed by all who knew him for his kind and 
noble character. He had been a sufferer for many months before his death, 
but bore it all with christian fortitude. He is survived by five daughters, 
his wife and one daughter having preceded him to the home beyond. He was a 
devoted father and no pains was spared by his loving children to render him 
comfort in his last hours. His remains were buried from the Catholic Church 
on Sunday, June 10th, at 3 o'clock p. m. The BANNER extends sincere 
condolence to the sorrowing relatives and children.
