Felder Magee, son of C.T. Magee, died in 1871, and was the first person buried in the cemetery. Zula Mae Kennedy, wife of Herman "Pat" Kennedy, lives near Magee Cemetery, and accompanied us when we recorded the cemetery. She has lived in the area all of her life, and many of the people buried in Magee were related to Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy is the daughter of John E. Wilson and Jane Grantham Wilson, and granddaughter of Samuel Wilson. The information and help she gave us was invaluable, and comments were added in parenthesis. Copied 16 November 1973 by Doris M.
