ROUSSEAUX - LACOMBE CEMETERY, St. Tammany Parish, La. File submitted by Donald W. Johnson 3/99 ********************************************** Copyright. All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Location: Off La. Hwy. 1090 on Pearl River, West Branch, near Slidell, LA. We were unable to locate the cemetery when we looked for it in 1977. However, Mrs. Joe Crawford of Slidell copied it on 9 April 1961, and furnished us with the information she had. Then, on 16 November 1978, we visited the home of Alvin and Katherine Bennett Frierson at Pearl River, LA, and Mrs. Frierson showed us rubbings of the markers that had been made by Ben Ferguson of New Orleans. Mrs. Frierson let us copy these rubbings, and all on this page, except the last two, were in this group.
