You must continue to click on FIND NEXT till you reach the end of the report to see all of the locations of the item indicated. ***************************** Obituaries March 2000 March 29, 2000 Kenneth "Pop" Lattie Mr. Kenneth "Pop" Lattie, a retired supervisor of Lattie Construction Co. died Saturday, March 25, 2000 at 8 a.m. of natural causes at his home. He was 84, a native of Boston, Mass., and a resident of Folsom for many years. Mr. Lattie was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II before it became known as the Army Air Force. His mother and father were Thomas Lattie and Blanche G. Lattie, both deceased. One daughter survives, Lynne Lattie Hladky of Folsom; one sister, Muriel O'Donnell of N. Easton, Mass.; two grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 28, from the chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington. Internment followed in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington. Vernel L. "Fuzzy" Fussell Mr. Vernel L. "Fuzzy" Fussell, a native of Franklinton and a medical lab technician at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma died Saturday, March 25, 2000 at the center of natural causes. He was 52 and had lived in Franklinton all his life. Survivors include his wife, Anna Lewis Fussell; a daughter, Susan Devoe Taylor; and a brother, Leon Fussell. Services were held on Tuesday, March 28, at 10 a.m. at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington. Internment was in the Fussell Cemetery in Franklinton. George S. Motichek George S. Motichek of Madisonville died of leukemia at his home on Thursday, March 23, 2000. Mr. Motichek was 80, a native and lifelong resident of Madisonville. Services were held Saturday, March 25, 2000 at 11 a.m. from St. Anselm Catholic Church with internment following in Theo Dendinger Cemetery. The deceased was the husband of Antonia Fraschini Motichek; father of Helen Motichek Wilson, George Robert Motichek; brother of Sister Florentine Motichek and the late Johnny M. and Joseph Motichek, Jr.; grandfather of Brandy L. Wilson, Joe Wilson, James R. Motichek, Daniel Motichek, Mindy L. Stranga, Lisa M. Stranga, Rebecca Motichek and Amy Motichek; and great-grandfather of Payton Motichek and Kendall Wilson. Celina Heisser Baham Celina Heisser Baham of Madisonville died on Thursday, March 23, 2000 at her home. She was the wife of the late Rodney Baham, Sr.; mother of Rodney Baham, Jr., Lydia B. Baham, Myrna Cousin, Milfred Baham, Jocelyn Blanc, Juliette Simms, Felix Baham and Jeffrey Baham; daughter of the late August and Felice L. Heisser; sister of Hilda H. Baham, Anola Ripoll and Milton Heisser and the late Louis and Curtis Heisser and Iona Heisser, Catherine Lange and Irene Baham. She was the sister-in-law of Iona Delpit. She was also survived by 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Ms. Baham was 83, a native and lifetime resident of Madisonville. Funeral services were held Monday, March 27, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. Anselm Catholic Church in Madisonville. Internment followed in Madisonville Cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Jack Wilson Giglione Mr. Jack Wilson Giglione of Mandeville died on Sunday, March 26,2000 at his home. He was the husband of Carmen Ruiz Giglione; father of Janet G. Manint, Raymond P. Giglione, Richard J. Giglione and Mark R. Giglione; grandfather of Eryn Manint Joubert, Ryan, Paul, Lindsey, Benjamin, Joshua and Alexander Giglione; son of the late Raymond and Virginia Tate Giglione. Mr. Giglione was 76, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville for the past 46 years. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans. Internment was in Greenwood Cemetery. E. J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington was in charge of the arrangements. Clifford Joseph Hughes Clifford Joseph Hughes of Mandeville died on Monday, March 27, 2000 at his home. He was the husband of Edna Riendl Hughes; father of Clifford J. Hughes, Jr., Jennifer H. Fortenberry and Connie H. McMillan; son of the late Samuel and Celestine K. Hughes; brother of Myrtle H. Relle; and six grandchildren. Mr. Hughes was 76, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville for the past 21 years. Funeral services are scheduled today, March 29, 2000 at 12 noon from the chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington. Internment is scheduled in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be observed today from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
