Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2010/st1006.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Terry Lee Crouch, 65, passed away in his home on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 8:18 AM with his wife and son at his side. Terry fought a short but hard fight against brain cancer. A warm outgoing cheerful individual Terry was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Navy. After his Navy life ended Terry worked at various jobs prior to joining his family business and became President of Brand Export Packing in Chalmette, LA where he worked for some 30 years. After Brand closed, he transported cars for a few years and then joined the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Department. There he was a member of the CERT Team, an FTO, and a police academy graduate. Terry worked his way up through the ranks to obtain the position of Lieutenant after only 3 years. He had a reputation of being fair, straight forward and honest in his dealings with his superiors, subordinates' and the inmates. He retired in 2008 to enjoy his country home, family and friends. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend he leaves behind a wife of 42 years, Sylvia Kay Webb Crouch; a son, Casey B. Crouch; one granddaughter, Haley Crouch; his parents, LeRoy Paul and Mollie Looper Crouch of Bush; his brother, Gary Paul Crouch and his wife Debbie of Slidell; two nephews, Jay Paul Crouch his wife Heidi and their son Ector, and Jody Lee Crouch; in addition to childhood friend Bernie Davis and special friend to the "Old Man", Michael McConahay. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Visitation on Saturday will begin at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations in Terry's memory to NAMI St. Tammany (National Alliance on Mental Illness), PO Box 3850, Mandeville, LA 70470. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many friends and neighbors who have been so supportive and caring throughout Terry's illness. ===================
