STEPHEN JAMES FRANZ, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010, at 
Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Beloved son of the late LCDR John B. Franz, Jr. and Dorothy Caroline Franz.
Brother of Bruce D. Franz, Patricia Ann Diemer, Paul Joseph Franz, Dorothy 
Franz, Ellen Franz, Judith Marie Franz, Lori and Lisa Franz, Mark Andrew Franz, 
and the late John B. Franz, III, Mary Louise Grimes, Ricky Franz, and Randall 
Franz. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Age 62 years; a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell, LA. 
Stephen was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a champion dart player. He 
served his country in the U.S. Navy as a 2nd Class Radarman during the Vietnam 
era.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a graveside service at 
Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave., Biloxi, MS on Friday, June 11, 2010 
at 1:30pm.
