Gaspard passed away at his home on Saturday, June 12, 2010. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Anna Belle Taylor Gaspard. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Kirt Alan Gaspard and Becky Nelson Gaspard; his grandchildren, Alexis Gaspard and Nelson Gaspard; his brother and sisters, Dick Gaspard, Beverly Mills, Joan Johnson and Glorianne Perrizo; nieces and nephews as well as many friends and colleagues. His mother, Eleanore Mary Kalla Gaspard; and his father, Theodore R. Gaspard, also preceded him in death. He served in the Merchant Marines during Viet Nam and spent his entire career with Lykes Brothers Steamship Co. retiring as Ships Master in 1993. Enjoyed Saints, LSU sports, fishing and his grandchildren. Age 78 years, he was a native of Albany, MN and a resident of Covington, LA. The family is having a private service. ===================
