HEBERT, DAVID 
(July 17, 1924 - June 29, 2010)

David Hebert of Mandeville, born July 17, 1924, in Abbeville, LA, died June 29, 2010.

Devoted husband of the late Eileen Gillies Hebert. Father of Lorraine Hebert, John Hebert (Elizabeth), and Sister Elizabeth Hebert, SLW. Grandfather of Elizabeth Osborne (Bernie), Tim Hebert (Lynn), Shelley Hebert (Alyssa), Mollie Smith (Wayne), Madelyn Hunter (Jason), and Margaret Robertson (Andy). Father-in-law of Lynne Nix. Also survived by sisters Cecile Butcher, Jeanne Bernard, Helen Cameron Fortier, brother J. Edwin Hebert; brothers-in-law Eddie Gillies (Margaret) and Frank Addison; 10 great-children, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by parents Clemille and Leonie Hebert and son-in-law Alton Hebert.

He will be remembered for his devotion to family and for his wonderful sense of humor.

A memorial mass will be held at Mary, Queen of Peace Church, Mandeville, on Friday, July 2, at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of the Living Word, 107-B Yorke St., Belle Chasse, LA 70037.
