Bette Duff Hurtt, a native of Pittsburg, a former resident of New Orleans and a 
longtime resident of Slidell, peacefully passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010. 

She was a longtime member of Christ Episcopal Church.

She was the beloved wife of the late George William "Bill" Hurtt and loving 
mother of Suzanne Hurtt Dorion (George) and Sheryl Hurtt (Jack Gautreaux). She 
is survived by three sisters, Helen Kelly, Bonnie Anderson, Maxine Murray; three 
grandchildren, Addam Dorion, Matthew Dorion, Marc Gautreaux; and one great-
granddaughter, Emma Dorion.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services 
at 1 p.m. today at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. W., Slidell. 
Visitation is from noon until funeral time. 

Donations to Generations Hospice, 32948 Hwy 16, Denham Springs, LA 70706-0962, 
are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
