She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin Paul Landry; daughter of the late John and Juanita Albe; mother of Cheryl Landry Hutchinson (Jesse), Cynthia Landry Steele (William II), and Marvin Paul Landry II (Stephanie); grandmother of Brigitte Matejowsky (Winston), Jennifer Steele Billeaud (AndrŽ), William L. Steele III (Kerri), Erin Landry Knight (Ray), Colleen Landry, Timothy Landry, and Ryan Landry; and great- grandmother of Hannah Matejowsky, Abigail Matejowsky, Louis Billeaud, Giacomo Billeaud, Page Steele, Emma and Liam Steele and Luke Knight. She was a native of New Orleans and resident of Slidell for 45 years. She resided in Baton Rouge for four years and was a resident of Ventress at the time of her death. Landry was a 1941 graduate of McDonogh High School. She was a Slidell Women's Civic Club member as well as being club president, vice-president, treasurer, ball captain, and parade captain. Above all, she received the honor of being named Queen Samaritan XXV in 1974. She was a Camellia Club member, holding numerous offices as well as supporting the Easter Seals, "Jazz on the Bayou." She was also associated with Girl Scouts of America, the American Red Cross, Slidell High School PTA, and Bayou Liberty Garden Club. She was a parishioner of Our lady of Lourdes, St. Genevieve, and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Churches. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to the funeral services at noon tomorrow at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. W. in Slidell. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until noon. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Charlie's Place Alzheimer's Respite Center, 3772 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806 (225-334-7494). ===================
