Susan "Susie" Joyner Mittenzwei, age 48 years, passed away on June 27 in 
Slidell, LA. 

She was born on June 20, 1962 in Little Rock, AR. She attended high school at 
Riverdale High in Harahan, LA and studied Medical Technology at the University 
of New Orleans. In later years, she spent her time at home as a doting wife and 
mother. 

She is the beloved wife of Ray A. Mittenzwei. She is the daughter of Jane L. 
Joyner and the late Edwin O. Joyner. She is the loving mother and mother-in-law 
of Kelly and Mark Tournier, Ashley and Cody Sellers and Chris Marroy. She is the 
sister and sister-in-law of Janet and Kenny Martin and Jim and Erin Joyner. She 
is the grandmother of Brennan and Mallory Tournier, Vander Jackson Sellers and 
aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010, from 10:00am until 11:00am at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME 1751 GAUSE BLVD W. in Slidell, LA. followed by a Memorial 
Service at 11:00am. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple 
Sclerosis Foundation (msfacts.org) or other preferred charity of your choosing.
