P. Philip Stagg passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the age of 93.

Beloved husband of the late Dorris Warner Stagg. Loving father of Mary Stagg 
Vinson and Philip W. "Buzz" Stagg. Son of the late Florence Kaul Stagg and Pliny 
Philip Stagg. Brother of the late Marjorie Stagg Buhrman. Grandfather of Mary 
Beth Alanis, Grant Vinson, Sarah Stagg, and Matthew Stagg. Great-grandfather of 
Cameron Alanis.

Mr. Stagg was a graduate of Centenary College and earned a Master's degree in 
accounting from LSU. He was a WW II Army Air Force veteran. Mr. Stagg retired as 
Vice President and Treasurer of United Energy Resources of Houston, Texas.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on 
Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 
2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Friday beginning at 
10:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Stagg be made 
to First Baptist Church of Covington.
