Kathy Creekmore Vinet, of Slidell, LA, passed away after a long courageous 
battle with cancer, on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at her home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved wife of John L. Vinet. Mother of Wendi Price Griggs (Nealy Bryan), 
Michael G. Stodard, Vanessa B. Stodard (Jason), C.J. Vinet (Tammy), Angel 
Worsham, Christina Creekmore Turnage and the late David Stodard. Daughter of 
Billy Weldon and the late Bettie Ann Weldon and Shine Stodard. Sister of Rickey 
Stodard (Vickey), Deborah Dudley (Billy), Johanna McGonigal (Monk), Jeff 
Whitlock (Tiffany), Sandy Williams, Gail Rahaim (Rogers) and the late Larry W. 
Stodard and Terrance Stodard. Sister-in-law of Marlyn Fraychineaud (Kayo), Linda 
Biddle (Ron), Darlene Vinet and Janet Vinet.

Also survived by 21 grandchildren; D.J. Berns, Dakota Brister, Karley Brister, 
Kayla King, Chyanne Griggs, Bryan Griggs, Xzavier and Abrianna Cousin, Brett 
Worsham, Colton Clark, Brianna Vinet, Nevaeh and Audrianna Vinet, Destiny 
Catoire, Kaylee, Macie and Chelsi Turnage and Nicole and Jessica Gorsuch, Tori 
Price and Skyler Blackman and the late Erica Catoire; 2 great grandchildren, 
Raina King and Heaven Gorsuch and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and 
nephews.

Age 53 years; a native of Meridian, MS and a longtime resident of Slidell, LA. 
Mrs. Vinet was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and on Wednesday, June 30, 
2010 at First Pentecostal Church, 388 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA from 11:00am 
until 1:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be in 
Forest Lawn Cemetery.
