Edward W. "Bubba" Condon passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the age of 85 
in Slidell. 

He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell since 2005.

He was the beloved husband of Carmel D. Condon; father of Edward W. Condon Jr., 
Carolyn M. Condon, Alphonse J. Condon, Carmel C. Johnson and Daniel J. Condon; 
son of the late Alphonsus J. Condon and Beatrice M. Martin; brother of Philip G. 
Condon and the late Estelle Tur and Betty Weightman; and father-in-law of Linda 
Condon, Marie Condon, Mark Johnson and Loralie Condon. He is also survived by 12 
beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Edward was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart 
Medal. He was retired from Illinois Central Railroad.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services 
at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Crossgates 
Blvd., in Slidell. Friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. Private interment will 
follow at a later date.
